Program Overview
It is the goal of the IBCLC® to apply evidence-based practices in their clinical care of the breastfeeding couplet. Yet, it can be difficult, within the wide array of research being published, to determine which papers should be applied and which might be commercially influenced or ethically unsound. Fortunately, within the publishing world, there are required elements of every paper that can provide evidence of ethical research. Gain an insider’s view of the publishing world in this workshop with shared stories and insights. We will discuss the basics of research ethics and the trending topics of the use of AI in research and the ethical challenges of applying the WHO code to breastfeeding research.
